Strategic Decision Making for Optimizing Quality Cost : A Case Study of C&C Product Failure Cost

 This paper analyzes how the theoretical concepts of quality cost are applied to real world  situations and introduces decision strategies for cost optimization. First, it explains  theoretical meanings of quality cost. Second, the gap between theoretical cost and practical cost is then analyzed based on the failure cost of C&C products. Third, the impact of service policy on cost of quality is investigated in order to elicit a strategic decision making scheme for optimizing quality cost.
